Peter Wong (Wong Tsz Kin) is an Audio Engineer, Sound Artist, and Bassist based in Hong Kong, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Degree in Theatre and Entertainment Arts from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Sound Design. Peter's work speaks of his exploration into the fascinating world around him, using the medium of sound. Continually pushing creative boundaries, his works offer a unique perspective and contribute to the redefinition of the art form. His artistry is deeply rooted in the quest for novelty and the pursuit of excellence.

 

During Peter's time as a member in local Post Rock act CHAN is Swimming, they released their demo album "Big Turbidity - BBQ Rock" (2015). Through their active period from 2014 to 2016 CHAN is Swimming performed in various live shows, filling the stage with their invigorating energy. In 2023, they released a self-titled album called "CHAN is Swimming".

 

In 2018 Peter started a Post Rock/Instrumental solo project, Same Departure, composing, producing, recording and mixing music material, and exploring different concept in the composition. In 2019 it released its debut EP "The Journey Begins Here". Later in 2020 single "Empty Block" was released.​

In 2021 Peter found WAVINCITY - Hong Kong Urban Soundscape Recording Project. The project aims to provide another form of medium in addition to photography and video, allowing listeners to experience the soundscape created by the overlapping of time and place. In 2023, Peter collaborated with a creative team to design and arrange a sonic installation experience called "Echoes of Urban Memory", utilizing the field recordings collected over two years. These sounds have been artfully arranged to form a one-of-a-kind journey that probes the intricate relationship between sound, memory, and identity.

 

王梓健是扎根於香港的音響工程師、聲音藝術家、及低音結他手，畢業於香港演藝學院舞台及製作藝術學士(榮譽)學位，主修聲音設計。王氏堅信聲音是經歷世界的有力工具，並在此基礎上挖掘創造新奇且動人的藝術作品的各種可能性。他在自身的創作中融入獨特的觀念，並善於打破自我設限，不斷推進自己的藝術視野。

 

在王氏擔當本地後搖滾樂隊CHAN is Swimming 成員期間，他們發行了展示專輯"Big Turbidity - BBQ Rock" (2015)。在2014-2016 年期間，他們參與過不同的現場現出，為舞台注入令人振奮的活力。於2023年，他們推出同名專輯《CHAN is Swimming》。

 

2018年王氏成立了後搖滾計劃Same Departure，親自編寫、演奏、製作、錄音及混音歌曲，以音樂探索不同的概念。在2019年發行了第一張迷你專輯"The Journey Begins Here"，其後於2020年發表了單曲"Empty Block"。

在2021年王氏成立了WAVINCITY – 香港城市聲音記錄計劃，以現場錄音方式捕捉和記錄人文聲景，讓聽眾感受不同時地人所產生的都市面貌，同時開放錄音成為藝術創作素材。於2023年王氏將兩年來收集的現場環境錄音，與創作團隊設計及編排出《聲響憶城》聲音裝置體驗，建構出一個獨特的旅程，尋求聲音、記憶與身份之間的關係。
